Following discussion and agreement of your Committee & with approval of the Third Age Trust, your committee herby give notice of a 'Special General Meeting' (SGM) of members which will take place at the next members meeting on Thursday the 26th September to commence at 10.15am prior to the guest speaker talk at 10.30am.

The SGM is being called to propose to the membership the following amendments to our current Constitution within section 16.8 which relates to the tenure of your Officers and trustees and 20.8 which relates to the quorum requirement for committee meetings. A vote by a show of hands will be taken at the SGM on each proposed amendment. If you are unable to attend the meeting in person and would like to appoint a proxy to vote in your place or provide the Chair with your voting intent, please see details within the email (SGM Voting) on how to action your proxy vote.
