Fortunately Artificial Intelligence has come to lend a hand with a range of Apps for your mobile phone, tablet or PC. If you can take a reasonable photo on your phone, you should be able to identify what you’ve discovered. You can then use one of many websites to confirm the identity and learn more about that specimen.

PlantNet: as it says, good for plants
Merlin: Excellent for identifying birdsongs
