With the advanced speakers we aim to speak in French as much as possible and members are encouraged to suggest topics for discussion, texts or short stories to read together. With the intermediates, we are currently mainly using a BBC textbook; new/used copies of which are readily available online. Costs to attend cover room hire and photocopying fees.

Unfortunately we don’t have the benefit of having a native French speaker in the group so we have to help each other to remember vocabulary. We just hope to carry on learning together in a fun and relaxed environment, make some progress and keep the French that we do have fresh in our minds!
